Back Seven is at Bethel & San Francisco Street

This September, Back Seven Nursery will set up its first produce stand at the corner of Bethel & San Francisco Street! The pop-up farm booth will be present on Friday afternoons from 2pm-6pm and Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm beginning September 4. I’m excited to join the hub of activity at this neighborhood center this week and I hope you’ll come visit! The pop-up hours align with open hours for San Francisco Street Bakery, Convenience Corner, and Taqueria la Benedicion, so treat yourselves to a snack or pick up dinner at the same time.

As I’m starting these pop-up markets, please visit with the knowledge that the variety of offerings may be limited. The trade off is that you can expect to find fresh produce picked same-day at the stand, so you can feel assured you’re taking home vegetables at their prime of freshness.

Here’s what I expect to have on September 4:

  • Fall & Winter Plant Starts

    • Options for extending your garden into late fall and winter. Purple broccoli, anyone?

  • Kale, multiple varieties

  • Collards

  • Cucumbers

  • Basil

  • Beets

  • Tomatoes

  • Carrots

  • Flowers
