Back Seven Nursery started as a backyard operation in 2023. In April 2026, Back Seven expanded to leased farmland near Woodard Bay in Northeast Olympia. Nora (CFO—Chief of Farming Operations…) is in the process of building the third greenhouse and is growing row crop vegetables on an additional 1/8 acre at the new location. All plants produced on the farm still originate from the backyard greenhouses. The bulk of all nursery plants and farm seedlings will be grown in the new greenhouse in 2027!

March through June marks the busiest season for nursery plant sales— purchase starts for your spring and summer gardens at our pop-up stands. In early summer, contact the farm directly to request vegetable seedlings for your fall and winter gardens. Beginning in September, return to the pop-up stand to find fresh fall and winter produce.
